Education is the foundation of a strong and caring community. Across Bangladesh, many madrasas serve children and young learners from low-income families, yet operate in crowded, damaged or unsafe buildings. Social Co-Operation Association (SCA) works to change this by constructing new madrasas and renovating existing ones, creating safe, clean and welcoming places for learning, worship and community life.
What we do
- Build new madrasa buildings and classrooms in underserved communities
- Repair and renovate damaged walls, roofs, floors and windows
- Provide clean drinking water, toilets and ablution facilities
- Supply essential furnishings such as mats, desks, shelves and lighting
- Improve safety, ventilation and accessibility for students and teachers
Why it matters
A safe and comfortable building helps students focus, keeps attendance steady and gives teachers a place where they can teach with dignity. Each madrasa also becomes a centre of community life, serving families long after construction is complete.
Your support makes a difference
Every contribution, large or small, helps lay a brick, repair a roof or open a door for a child to learn. Join SCA in building a better tomorrow.
